Long-term fuel storage causes condensate water, sediment, and microbial contamination ("diesel bug") that clogs filters and damages injectors. Tank cleaning removes wall deposits and sludge; fuel polishing improves the fuel itself.
Tank cleaning scope. Mechanical cleaning of tank walls and floor, sludge removal, gas-free certification before re-fill, ISO 9001 / 14001 environmental compliance, plus disposal documentation per Indonesian KLHK regulation.
Fuel polishing
Fuel polishing filters fuel that has been stored long-term, removing condensate water, sediment, and microbial contamination without draining the tank. Most critical for standby diesel fire pumps (fuel sits 6-12 months between test runs), critical-power gensets (data centers, hospitals, oil & gas), and bulk fuel storage at remote sites. Scope: pre-clean sampling for baseline fuel quality, multi-stage filtration (sediment + water separator + bio-treatment), post-clean sampling with certificate of analysis per ASTM D975. Can be scheduled as part of a Preventive Maintenance Contract.
