  1. 01 What is a pre-package fire fighting pump and when is it needed?

    A pre-package fire pump is a pre-fabricated fire pump system fully integrated with the motor (electric or diesel), pre-wired controller, jockey pump, daily fuel tank, and piping mounted on a single skid. It complies with NFPA 20 using UL Listed and/or FM Approved components. Suitable for high-rise buildings, industrial facilities, smelters, and locations that need a ready-to-install system with short installation time and demonstrable standards compliance.

  2. 02 How long is the fabrication lead time for a WITANABE™ fire pump system?

    Standard WITANABE™ package fabrication lead time is 8 to 12 weeks from PO confirmation, depending on spec complexity and the availability of critical components (controller, motor, panel). For diesel-engine driver configurations, add 2 to 4 weeks for engine, DC panel, and battery system integration. Contact the Arsindo engineering team for project-specific lead times. We also offer fast-track builds for emergency needs.

  3. 03 What is the difference between a dewatering pontoon and a standard submersible pump?

    A dewatering pontoon is a floating platform carrying multiple centrifugal pumps above the water surface, ideal for fluctuating mining water levels or sites with difficult underwater access. Standard submersible pumps sit underwater, are more vulnerable to abrasive slurry, and require dewatering the area for maintenance. The pontoon makes inspection easier (pumps are accessed from above), lasts longer in corrosive environments, and capacity scales easily by adding pump units to the platform.

  4. 04 Does Arsindo offer pump rental for short-term projects?

    Yes. Arsindo offers daily, weekly, monthly, and multi-year contract pump rental. The fleet includes mobile trailer pumps (AMP), dewatering pumps, emergency fire pumps, slurry pumps, and supporting tools / equipment. Mobilisation across Indonesia with on-site engineer support for commissioning, troubleshooting, and demobilisation. Fast-rental requests can be processed within hours for emergency response.

  5. 05 What is the scope of an Arsindo preventive maintenance contract (PMC)?

    Arsindo PMC covers scheduled visual + mechanical inspection, performance testing (flow, head, vibration, bearing temperature), lubrication and wear-parts replacement (seals, impellers, couplings), written condition reports with trend data, priority access to standby fleet during overhaul, and a 24/7 hotline for emergencies. Frequency is matched to asset duty cycle: monthly for critical pumps, quarterly for standard, semi-annually for standby.

  6. 06 Is there a 24/7 emergency service for critical pump failures?

    Yes. Arsindo’s 24/7 pump-repair contract delivers rapid response with standby technician teams, backup pump fleet, and OEM spare-parts inventory for critical pump outages at plants, high-rise buildings, hospitals, and industrial facilities. Coverage in Greater Jakarta with dispatch across Indonesia. Mobilisation time is communicated transparently when the call is received.

  7. 07 How does Arsindo ship pumps outside Java?

    Arsindo ships across Indonesia via overland routes (trans-Sumatra, Java-Bali) and sea container (Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Papua, NTT, Maluku). Pump skids and pipe spools are crated for vibration resistance and shipped with inter-island export documentation. Our engineering team is available for on-site installation supervision, commissioning, and operator training.

  8. 08 Do Arsindo products carry TKDN certification for government / SOE projects?

    Yes. Several Arsindo product lines hold TKDN (Indonesian Local Content Level) certificates registered with the Ministry of Industry, with values ranging from 30%+ to 50% depending on the product. Important for government and state-owned enterprise (SOE) projects that require minimum TKDN. Arsindo is also registered with P3DN (Increased Use of Domestic Products).
