Baseframe and Skid Fabrication

A correctly engineered baseframe is the foundation of pump reliability. Misaligned bases cause vibration, premature bearing failure, seal leaks, and coupling damage long before the pump itself wears out.

Our scope. Custom baseframe and skid-mount fabrication for centrifugal pumps, NFPA 20 fire pumps, multistage boosters, AODD diaphragm pumps, and complete process skids. Structural steel ASTM A36 with welding to AWS D1.1, dye-penetrant tested critical joints, machined mounting pads to within 0.05 mm flatness, anchor-bolt patterns matched to pump and motor data sheets.

Surface protection. Three-coat NACE SP0108 marine paint system (zinc primer + epoxy intermediate + polyurethane top-coat) for outdoor or corrosive-environment installations. Hot-dip galvanised option for highly aggressive duty.

Alignment & commissioning. Each baseframe ships with a factory dry alignment within 0.05 mm using SKF TKSA-11 laser. Hot alignment after 4-8 hours of running is included for installations covered by our pump alignment service. Grouting recommendations (epoxy or cementitious) per duty are documented in the handover package.
